What is included in audio editing, mixing, and mastering?

Editing: noise removal, de-essing, timing/alignment fixes, vocal pitch & time correction, general cleanup.
Mixing: level balancing, EQ, compression, effects (reverb, delay), panning, automation — professional, cohesive sound.
Mastering: final EQ, loudness optimization (e.g. -14 LUFS for streaming), dynamics control, stereo enhancement, format prep for platforms/CD.

What is sound design and custom music/composition?

Sound design: original sound effects, atmospheres, Foley, sonic textures for games, films, ads, videos.
Custom music: full original tracks, soundtracks, background scores, loops — composed to your brief (genre, mood, length, instruments).

How do I prepare and send files for audio work?

Mixing/editing: send individual stems/multitracks (WAV/AIFF, 24-bit, same sample rate — 44.1kHz+ preferred). Include notes & reference tracks.
Mastering: send final stereo mix (highest quality WAV/AIFF).
Custom/sound design: send brief, references, video link, mood board.
Upload via WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Google Drive — I confirm receipt.

What file formats do you deliver?

WAV/AIFF (24-bit, 44.1–96kHz), MP3 (320kbps), or your requested format.
Masters include versions for Spotify, YouTube, Apple, etc.
Custom audio: final track + optional stems/layers.

How many revisions are included?

Mixing/editing: 2–3 full rounds + unlimited minor tweaks.
Mastering: 1–2 rounds.
Custom music/sound design: 3–4 standard rounds (extra rounds at additional cost).

Do you work from reference tracks or specific styles?

Yes — send references (songs/artists/albums). I match the vibe, loudness, clarity for mixing/mastering, or direction for custom music/sound design.

Can you fix a bad mix during mastering?

Mastering polishes a good mix but cannot fully fix serious mix problems (imbalance, phase issues, clipping). I recommend mix revisions first if needed.

Yes – immersive soundscapes, effect libraries, synced audio for media. Send project details (duration, style, platform, preview) for accurate quote.
